 THE WEATHER SPEAKS


Early morning, I came out to admire the sun

But what I saw amused me like a pun

No sunlight, the sky was covered in darkness

I thought the time was still around 11:30 pm

But to my surprise it was 7:44am.


The climate changes, a sign of raindrop.

The weather speaks without mouth,

Isn't that superficial? It is powerful.

I sat , observe the change closely

Everyone could tell "The rain is coming heavily".


A little drop of water can fill up a bucket,

This ain't hyperbole or irony .

I tried it, so it's true.

Any season is for a reason,

The rainy season is a blessing

To those out of water.

While the sunny season for strong effect on plants 

And help to dry up clothes in some minutes.


Now you see that the weather speaks

And enlighten everyone without his mouth.

Nature remain beautiful and educative

Negative or positive changes in climate

Is not a curse, but a blessing to man.

DARK WORLD We live in a dark world full of evil and good I dwell in a circle of threat,  You always see me in my worried mood My feet is placed on the floor of heat. You see the blind says: Don't focus on me too much, you might fall. While the deaf says: The wall reveal your words, I heard all you said. The rich as a god While the needy as a slave Weak ones belittled in the wicked world. A dark space, scary and suffocating No room for breathing Rules are made, but not kept People's words can split one's neck like a sword I'm connected to pains like an umbilical cord. I want to leave but am trapped. Can't you migrate?  Do you wish to end here? Never do I wish for all this But life happens.i overthink, constantly  I think of how to survive In the dark world, a place of good and evil Bargaining is not an option Find your niche Find your light  And let it guide you. ©Dada Oluwafemi ✍️ 2026.

 AFRICAN BLEEDS Can we ever sleep with our  eyes close again? Can we ever move freely without being curious? Can we ever Smile and nod in acceptance... That I love my country? When is all this atrocities going to end? African bleeds, as the people weep Sorrow here, sorrow there like a beep It all happen so fast and unexpected Only the sad news spread with a teary wings.  Human beings are slaughter like animals Blood flows like a stream in every vicinity Where's our dignity? For Godsake, killing never ends Sorrow never fades  yet the Government sit and assume all is fine . Do we even have a President? Is he alive? He act like a dead man  Because his presence is not felt His orders ends at his doormat ,  His voice echoes in their house not to the country All this dey sele u dey ask wetin dey play? Na who e no happen to go say Nigeria is fine While other citizens dey suffer alots . Our flag represent what again? No be unity? But na insanity... Dey play everywh...
